P.S. Holy heat wave!  In So Cal we had one real fall day then boom, Indian Summer bliss! It's been in the 80's for days and warm at night which is unheard of with todays high of 99!  We had the coldest summer since 1933, needless to say my friends and I are stoked, I pray it lasts....

Fendi Please God

I dream of wearing this chic and cozy Spring 2011 Fendi creation with a cute bikini underneath, drink in hand somewhere fabulous.  It's more billowy in the arms than I normally like but this garment is calling my name.....(I think I need a vacation).  Of course I would keep the glasses but replace the beads and turquoise with a more city look of either thick gold (any version..cuff, linked chain) or a charm bracelet (maybe even silver) but that's just me.

What an amazing dress!  I gasped when I saw it, so haute tribal and epic Gucci but my favorite is the one below...

Happy Autumn Equinox

Backstage At Ruffian

(How's their signature manicure?  Interesting...)


I love this picture from life.com taken backstage during NY Fashion Week.  The magazine did a feature doucmenting the going ons at Ruffian and apparently it's not like the typical crazy scenario one usually finds, instead they create "a church like feel" and everyone is calm and quiet for about 2 hours before the show.  I think this translates well through their clothes, here's a look from Spring 2011 that I'm adding to my wish list, I like it as a suit but I really want the jacket.

Fall Is In The Air

I think these photos from Nuyou Singapore are stunning and absolutely capture the essence and feel of fall.  The model Du Juan looks gorgeous and of course I love her red lips with minimal make up.  A chill is now in the air here in So Cal, even with a nice day the night air is getting crisp, two more days and it's official...I still need a few new jackets, these two would be nice.

Ethereal Maiden

This goes out to my girl Jenny B who's one of the most beautiful people I've ever met, she's getting married next year and I'm a bridesmaid!  Since her maid of honor and mother live in other states I'm helping her plan it out.....she wants an ethereal goddess like feel and this J Mendel Spring 2011 beauty is inspiring me (of course we need a dress lined.....)  Jenny and I do a rad charity together called Karma Yoga, we raise money and awareness for a non-profit social change organization called Shakti Rising who uses a holistic approach to healing for women 15-30 with great success! They're expanding their reach across the country touching entire communities, it's very exciting, for more info check out the links.

Loving This Michael Kors

I haven't always been the biggest Michael Kors fan but that has recently changed, I had the best shopping experience with a client at his store recently and have realized he always has key basics that are super cute, it's sportswear at it's finest.  I think I'll add  this one to my upcoming spring 2011 wardrobe.

The Lady In Red

Marie Claire Italia's September cover is one of the best I've seen this month.  The model looks amazing, again it's minimal make up with a great red lip and this dress is epic.  I've been so into red the last few weeks searching for the right piece to add to my mix, not an easy task but when it works its hard to beat.

Up Close And Personal

I swooned and gasped when I saw this picture from Melbourne's Recent Spring/Summer 2010 Fashion Week, this is from the line Thurley..so gorgeous!  While we enter fall the folks down under are just about to whoop it up.....Speaking of ~ Happy Labor Day Weekend~ wishing you all the best holiday!


P.S. Sara from A Trice of Life passed on the Versatile Blogger Award to me after receiving it herself, I'm very flattered and supposed to share 7 things about myself so since were up close and personal today I thought, why not?


1. I spent my teens and twenties entwined in the skateboard/surf industry amongst famous pros and incredible artists/designers who inspired me to create, without these crazy talented boys I would not be doing what I'm doing today!


2. Sake is my drink of choice but I am in love with champagne, beer and order vodka out on the town.


3. Coffee makes my life 100 times better and I crave afternoon americanos & cappuccinos.


4. I believe we are responsible for our destiny, we are the manifestors of our lives, whatever you think about you will get so stay positive!


5. I currently rock out to Bloc Party at the gym obsessively.

Ralph Lauren Fall Favorites

Here are some RL looks I want in my closet for fall.  The pin stripped suit is amazing, all the pants look impeccable and the buttons used on a few at the bottom are so cool.  The lace gloves are divine, the incredible evening number combines the masculine/femininity of his clothes perfectly and both outfits in the last photo are just so cute.  I've said it before, he's one of my all time favorites and I love that I'm able to put a range of clients in his clothes, definitely a line worth investing in.

Vintage Bardot

I absolutely adore this picture of Brigitte, we all know she was the ultimate bombshell but it's really nice to see her in a super cute proper sweater and fabulous skirt looking almost demure....and those shoes, I want them!  It's funny how "mad" society has gotten, this outfit would be in any current magazine today.  The blue, white, green color combo is perfect and her hair & make up are amazing, I must go on the hunt to replicate!
